Cost of living: Why blame Umno?

I guess no citizens of other countries blamed the ruling party for the rising cost of living, increasing toll price or 'barang naik', except Malaysia. Every finger will point to Umno.

Even in Singapore, a small republic ranked as 'among the most expensive places in the world', the peoples do understand why prices had to go up or why some taxes had to undergo series of upward revisions.

Malaysians need to learn more about the world trend, how movement of trades, protectionism, tariffs and other things have direct impact on the world economy. While the government is doing its best to keep prices low, it can't help but to follow the momentum in order to keep the economy as vibrant as it could be.

We don't usually pay attention to the worldwide trend because we are too busy politicising things like these. Just compare where Luanda and N'jamena are among the world's 'big brothers'? We are never near them!
